Summary: ADLX collects only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not sell your personal data. Messages between users and lawyers are encrypted and unreadable to ADLX. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

1. Who We Are

ADLX Technologies Private Limited ("ADLX", "we", "our", "us") operates the ADLX mobile application and website (adlx.in). We are headquartered in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform. It applies to all users — clients, lawyers, and notaries.

This policy is compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ("SPDI Rules"), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA").

2.3 Payment Information

We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We store only the payment ID, order ID, amount, and status for our records. Please review Razorpay's Privacy Policy for how they handle your payment data.

2.4 Chat Messages

Encrypted Messages: All chat messages between users and lawyers on ADLX are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored. ADLX servers store only encrypted ciphertext — we cannot read your messages. Messages are decrypted only on your device. This applies to both lawyer-user chats and support chats.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only in these circumstances:

4.1 With Lawyers / Users

When you book a consultation, your name and issue description are shared with the lawyer. The lawyer's name, specialization, fee, and rating are visible to you. Your phone number and email are NOT shared with lawyers — all communication happens within the Platform.

4.2 With Notaries

When you submit a notary request, your name, document details, and uploaded supporting documents are shared with the assigned notary.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, including under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 or the Information Technology Act, 2000.

4.5 Business Transfer

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. Firebase stores data primarily in the United States. By using ADLX, you consent to this cross-border transfer of data, which is necessary to provide the service.

7. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and SPDI Rules, you have the following rights:

8. Children's Privacy

ADLX is not intended for use by persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately at privacy@adlx.in and we will delete it.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The ADLX mobile application does not use browser cookies. The website (adlx.in) may use essential cookies for session management. We use Firebase Analytics for aggregated, anonymized usage statistics only.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest version.
